birth home on Trade St. In Tryon, NC. Having visited Addis Ababa twice, captured Nina Simone’s home on several occasions; and each time I’ve been
spellbound at exhibits in New York City and Atlanta, GA featuring Julie Mehretu’s art! I believe her humble beginnings in Ethiopia culminated with
her steadfast architectural designs amid a confused backdrop.
